Rules

Movement

Roll 1 D6 divide the result by two.

At the movement point of each turn all zombies within 12 inches of a character will begin moving to the closest character within that length. All Zombies outside of the 12 inch diameter move in a random fashion decided by rolling a blank dice.

When Zombies move they have a movement of two inches under normal circumstances. If a zombie becomes “excited” their movement becomes three inches. Also special mutated zombies can move faster if their stats state that they can.

When Zombies become excited:
•When a zombie is within 12 inches of a gunshot going off
•When a zombie grabs/bites a survivor all zombies within 6 inches become excited
•If a character yells to another character all zombies within 8 inches becomes excited

Combat

There will be two types of combat. Ranged and Hand-to-Hand combat. We will first over Hand-to-Hand combat. Hand-to-Hand combat is engaged when a zombie is 1 inch away from a character or is touching a characters base.

Hand-to-Hand Combat

Hand-to-Hand combat when not equipped with a close range weapon; sword, club, etc.

Roll 1 D6 and the results are as follows:

  • 6 you break away from the zombie move your character away from the zombie 1 inch
  • 2-5 you manage to break away but in the process you are bitten. Roll a second D6 to determine how many rounds before you become a zombie
  • 1 you just knew leaving the club behind was a bad mistage as the zombie drags you kicking a screaming to your death

Hand-to-Hand combat when you are equipped with a close range weapon
Roll 1 D6 and the results are as follows:

  • 4-6 you break away from the zombie killing it in the process
  • 3 you break away from the zombie unharmed but do not kill it
  • 2 you manage to break free but are bitten in the process roll a second D6 to determine how many rounds until you are a zombie
  • 1 your the worst combatant ever the zombie slaps your sword aside and eats your face!

Ranged Combat

Weapons classified as a medium ranged weapon; pistol, bow, shotgun, etc. may make a ranged combat attempt within 8 inches of the desired target

Weapons classified as a long ranged weapon; bazooka, rifle, etc. may make a ranged combat attempt within 12 inches of the desired target

If you make a ranged combat attempt roll 1 D6 and the following will happen:

  • 4-6 your a badass marksmen and you kill the zombie
  • 1-3 you suck at shooting things give the gun to your friend
